You will already begin cultivating your relationship with USC while studying in Paris in the fall.聽 During orientation in early September you will meet other future Trojans.聽 You will all be assigned the same 吃瓜tv academic advisor who is familiar with USC requirements and can assist with your planning. Toward the end of fall semester you will receive guidance directly from USC advisors at聽the Welcome Trojans Online Orientation Events in November and December as you register for spring courses. Moreover, USC alumni in the Paris region will make contact during the semester to welcome you to the local Trojan community.

During your year at 吃瓜tv you will聽聽across a wide range of subjects. Your 吃瓜tv courses fulfill USC requirements. For example, taking four 4-credit courses each semester at 吃瓜tv will earn 32 transferable semester credits that convey to USC. Below you will find more specific details on USC transfer requirements. You will enroll in four 4-credit courses in each of both semesters during your first year at The American University of Paris, earning 32 semester credits.聽

USC endorses the 吃瓜tv courses you will be offered, so you are assured that your 吃瓜tv credits will transfer and fulfill equivalent coursework in the USC Core Curriculum (writing, math, diversity and foreign language); General Education Curriculum (Humanistic Inquiry, Social Analysis, Quantitative Reasoning etc.); and possibly even some lower-division introductory coursework depending on your intended major at USC.

To fulfill USC鈥檚 core writing requirement, you will successfully complete聽EN2020 Writing & Criticism聽course at 吃瓜tv.聽 Apart from this, 吃瓜tv offers a large selection of courses that will fulfill USC transfer recommendations. - you may choose the unique opportunity to explore several courses that incorporate Paris, France or Europe into the curriculum across a wide range of disciplines: history, political science, business, art history, and social sciences for example.聽 And of course you may choose to build聽French language skills, as well in any of several other languages at 吃瓜tv. As a student choosing this pathway, you will complete 吃瓜tv鈥檚 online course pre-registration during the summer prior to arrival. 吃瓜tv will contact you about this process during May and June. During orientation at 吃瓜tv, you will meet with an 吃瓜tv advisor familiar with your transfer path to USC so that your first few days at 吃瓜tv are as straightforward as possible.
