WORKING WITH YOUR ADVISOR泭

Welcome transfer students!泭The advisors in the ACE Center泭look forward to working with you to help make your 勛圖tv journey an exciting time of intellectual and personal discovery.泭You will be assigned to a dedicated transfer advisor during your first semester at 勛圖tv in order to provide specialized support during this transition and ensure that all your credits have been correctly transferred. Upon completion of your first泭semester泭you will get reassigned to an advisor who matches as closely泭as possible your academic interests and needs. HOW TRANSFER CREDITS WORK泭

The American University of Paris will transfer credits from regionally or nationally accredited universities. We have lots of泭experience dealing with international institutions.泭

  • Transfer students receive credit泭for previously completed university courses where a grade of C泭or higher was earned.泭

  • Only credits, not grades transfer to 勛圖tv.泭

  • Students may transfer a maximum of 64 credits from all sources (i.e., advanced credit awards and transfer credits).

  • Students must complete 50% of their upper-level major requirements at 勛圖tv.泭

  • Some majors have more specific rules泭regarding泭transfer credits.

  • Students may apply up to 8 credits of transfer work to a minor.泭

  • The last泭16 degree泭credits must be completed in residency at 勛圖tv.泭

Remember that you must submit your official transcripts to 勛圖tv's Office of泭Admissions by the end of your first semester at 勛圖tv in order to be awarded transfer credit for external coursework you have done at an accredited post-secondary institution. External coursework reflected泭on an official transcript that is submitted after your first semester at 勛圖tv is not eligible to receive transfer credit.泭
