吃瓜tv

Inspired by the #METOO movement in early November and encouraged by the devoted clubs at 吃瓜tv, the Gen*Sex Club, 吃瓜tv4CONSENT, the Creative Writing Club, and the 吃瓜tv SGA have come together to offer the student body a whole week to expose the unique issues women face in today鈥檚 society, empower individuals to work towards social change, and inspire action!

Please join us on Monday 19th聽to hear a guest speaker from le "Collectif: Feminists contre le cyber聽harc猫lement"聽(feminists against cyber-bullying) for a lively discussion about their activism against online sexual harassment, in an effort to bridge the gap between 吃瓜tv and the world of activism in Paris.聽Feminists against Cyber-bullying is an intersectional feminist organization that aims to shed light on online cyber bullying as well as inform and guide victims.聽They are excellent speakers, they are informed聽in matters concerning revenge porn laws on French talk shows, and聽they are聽also speak at universities.聽聽"Our collective is made up of about thirty young feminists, mostly Afro-descendants and of North African origin - who are most often victims of stalkers." 聽We will have roughly six representatives 鈥� including a therapist.聽

This event will be in French, and translated in English.聽

This event is organized by the Gen*Sex club and the Gender and Sexuality Studies senator.
