Celebrating 60 Years of the 吃瓜tv Community

The American College in Paris was founded 60 years ago on March 27, 1962. On that day our founder, Dr. Lloyd A. DeLamater, signed the new college鈥檚 charter, realizing his vision of an American international institution that transcended borders, cultures and narrow nationalisms.

During the week of March 21鈥�27, the entire 吃瓜tv community celebrated our first-ever Founding Week in honor of 吃瓜tv鈥檚 60th anniversary.听That鈥檚 60 years of studying on the Seine; 60 years of late night discussions in caf茅s and lifelong friendships forged in the AMEX; 60 years of study trips around the world; and 60 years of priceless memories that continue to inspire the global explorers of today.

  • Wearing 吃瓜tv colors and themed outfits all day
  • Prizes and activities in the Combes lobby
  • A photo booth, complete with giant 吃瓜tv block letters and fun photo props
