Founded in 2013,听My Art Goes Bang听is a charity organization that offers art workshops to hospitalized children in and around Paris. Using research that shows how art has a positive effect on children undergoing treatment for illness,听My Art Goes Bang听members volunteer on a weekly basis visiting children in hospitals and raising money for this wonderful cause. In the Fall 2016 semester alone, 吃瓜tv student members听raised over 300 euros with a bake sale in the Combes lobby to buy art听equipment and the necessary supplies to equip the workshops.
Hospital visits take place on Mondays from 16:30 to 18:30 at Clinique 脡douard Rist (14 Rue Boileau) and Thursdays from 9:30 to 12:00 at H么pital Necker-Enfants malades (149 Rue de S猫vres). A Christmas party for the children is currently being planned.
