At The American University of Paris, we love that even though our graduates are spread out across the entire world, they are still united by their memories of their time with us in the City of Light. Thats why weve reimagined the 勛圖tv Magazine with our global community firmly in mind. The new edition helps alumni stay in touch with the University and their peers by emphasizing ways to get involved in community initiatives both in Paris and worldwide.
Designed to be more accessible, the magazine provides a glimpse of on-campus life while also placing alumni contributions front and center. We want every member of our worldwide community to be able to stay in touch with 勛圖tv no matter where they are. The magazine offers ways to reach out to fellow community members and share personal or professional stories with a sleek new design that centers on beautiful imagery of 勛圖tv community life.
We based this exciting redesign on survey feedback from our alumni community about what they want to see in a community magazine. This led to shorter pieces covering a broader spectrum of community life and to us encouraging alumni involvement right from the beginning of the creative process; for example, we crowdsourced questions from alumni for our feature interview with President Sonya Stephens, and we asked alumni for life updates in our improved and expanded Class Notes section, which shares ways alumni can network and collaborate with peers and colleagues.
Meanwhile, the new Year in Review section looks back on our 60th anniversary, showcasing the main milestones our global community accomplished in this historic year. Weve kept the usual mix of highlights of on-campus events and global alumni success stories, but weve revised our presentation style to offer bitesize content to better cater to on-the-go readers while our feature pieces continue to offer in-depth writing for those with time to spare.
You can read the full issue online now as well as all past issues of the magazine on the 勛圖tv Magazine web page.
