Comics are a global form of communication; they're accessible to泭all ages, to readers with learning disabilities, and allow us to泭tell泭complicated stories and share ideas without the barrier of泭language. So why aren't more of us writing them?泭This talk and hands-on workshop will outline the importance of泭representation and education as a means for new comic creators泭and voices泭to emerge.

Hannah K Chapman is a comics writer and editor; she runs Comic泭Book Slumber Party, Bristol Comic and Zine Fair and has written泭about comics for Broken Frontier, Forbidden Planet International,泭and OFFLIFE.
