Mirjam Dagef枚rde is a researcher and author on failing representation, the relation of citizens and politics, party politics and inequality with a focus on Europe; France and Germany in particular.

She is currently Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics at the聽American University of Paris聽and an Associate Researcher聽at聽聽and at the聽聽(Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin, Center for Civil Society Research).

Previously, she worked as a Lecturer at聽聽(Department of Social and Political Science). She holds a聽PhD from Sciences Po Paris. While completing her PhD, she聽was awarded聽a聽聽at the聽聽in Florence and was an OxPo Fellow at the聽,听听&补尘辫;听. She was also chercheuse invit茅e at聽the聽聽(invited by Jean-Fran莽ois Laslier and Thomas Piketty).聽

Mirjam Dagef枚rde has an interdisciplinary background, holding degrees in Political Science, Economics and Empirical Social and Political Analysis.
